Since the begining of 2000, Morocco has started on big investments regarding the establishment of huge shopping malls and Mega Centers. The series began with the Rabat Mega Mall in 2005, Marrakech Mega Mall Almazar in 2009. Morocco Mall of Casablanca which is supposed to be up and running on October 2011 if the construction schedule is respected. Casablanca Marina, Casablanca Anfaplace and finally, the huge Mega City Center and Tanger Mega Center which both will be the emblem of North Morocco. We already start referring to Tanger City Center as the North Manhattan.

Rabat Mega Mall is the largest shopping mall in Morocco for now. It is located in Rabat City, on Avenue Imam Malik next to the International Institute for Higher Education, it has shopping floors, a food court, gym for women, a bowling alley, bowling space and skating rink! High-end stores such as Versace composition with traditional decor and Moroccan caftan stores and a wide variety of products. The construction of Mega Mall Marrakech is actually the result of a partnership between two Moroccan companies and another French company. The Almazar Mall comes to strengthen the business infrastructure of Marrakech.
